If you have Service/s for a Salon-Parlour that has the cancellation provision, it will reflect under ‘Booking History’ on the app/website.
If you do not see an option to cancel your Service/s, make sure you’re logged in via the same email ID used to book the Service/s. If the cancellation option still does not appear, chances are that the Salon-Parlour you’ve booked for does not provide the cancellation of confirmed Service/s.
Whilst booking the Service/s, just tap on the Salon-Parlour name, if you see ‘Cancel’ under available facilities, you are the lucky one. Also, you may check the SMS or Email confirmation. It mentions if cancellation is available and the cancellation cut-off time, if available. Differing from Salon-Parlour.
In order to avail of the cancellation feature, the user needs to be logged in via the same email ID used to book the Service/s. All you need to do is select the booking you wish to cancel under the ‘Purchase History’ section and hit the cancel tab.
When you select the ‘Cancel’ tab, you can select between a refund to the ‘Source of funds’. Refunds to source reflect within 7 to 15 working days whereas Cash reflects within a max of 24 hours in your profile.
Note: In case you have redeemed a gift voucher while booking and canceled your Service/s, the amount will be refunded to the same gift voucher. You may redeem it post 24 hours.
Please follow the below steps to cancel your Service/s:
- Login into the Salonwaale app/website. Click on ‘Profile’ on the bottom right of the app or the upper-right of the website.
- Select ‘Booking-Purchase History’ and choose the booking you wish to cancel.
- Select the booking you wish to cancel and tap on ‘Cancel Booking’ available on the bottom-right of the screen.
- You will have two options to select – ‘Refund’
- Refund will be credited within the max of 2 hours (Bank Dependant) and in case of the original payment source, funds will reflect within 7 to 15 working days.
- Once you confirm the cancellation, the app will calculate the refundable amount.
- That’s It! You will see a ‘Cancelled’ stamp on the booking, confirming the cancellation. You’ll also receive an SMS/Email confirming the same.
NOTE: If an offer, offer code, referal points, etc have been applied to a booking, the transaction is deemed only eligible for cancellation and refund of the original amount paid by the customer. Customers can cancel their transactions, regardless of the offer used and cancellation availability at the Salonwaale.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Any Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them under the Terms of Use which govern your use of our website www.salonwaale.com (the “Website”) and our ‘Salonwaale’ application for mobile and handheld devices (the “App”). The Website and the App are jointly referred to as the “Platform”.
- Customer Cancellation
- As a general rule Customer shall not be entitled to cancel the booking once placed. A Customer may choose to cancel the booking only within two minutes of the booking being placed. However, subject to the customer’s previous cancellation history, Salonwaale reserves the right to deny any refund to the Customer pursuant to a cancellation initiated by the Customer even if the same is within two-minute followed by suspension of account, as may be necessary for the sole discretion of Salonwaale.
- If Customer cancels his/her booking after 2 minutes of placing it, Salonwaale shall have a right to collect a penalty of 100% of the Order amount for breach of contract terms as compensation for the damages suffered by Salonwaale, with a right to either not to refund the booking value in case Customer’s booking is prepaid or recover from the customer’s subsequent booking in case his/her booking is postpaid, to compensate the Merchants and PDPs.
- Non-Customer Cancellation
- Salonwaale reserves the right to collect a penalty for the booking constrained to be canceled by Salonwaale for reasons not attributable to Salonwaale, including but not limited to:
- failure to contact Salons/Parlors by phone or email at the time of booking;
- unavailability of all the Staff booked by Customer at the time of booking the service; or However, in the unlikely event, Salonwaale will contact the customer on the phone number provided to us at the time of booking and inform the customer of such unavailability. In such an event customer will be entitled to cancel the entire service and shall be entitled to a refund to an amount up to 100% of the Order value.
- Non-Refund.
- Salonwaale reserves the right to for following events.
- in the event, if the customer does not reach the salon or parlor at booking time; a refund cannot be initiated.
- in the event, if the has booked a service on “Cash after Service’ and he/she falls short or doesn’t reach the parlor 10 minutes after the allotted time, the customer will not get serve after that with the same pricing. Customers may choose to get service offline from any staff without discounts.
- “Cash after Service’ will have no refunds.
- Refunds
- A Customer may be entitled to a refund for prepaid bookings. Salonwaale retains the right to retain the penalty payable by the Customer from the amount refundable to him/her. The Customer shall also be entitled to a refund of proportionate value in the event packaging of an item in an, is either tampered or damaged and the Customer refuses to accept at the time of delivery for the said reason;
- Customer may be entitled to a refund up to 100% of the Booking value if Salon/Parlour fails to service due to a cause attributable to either Salon/Parlour or Salonwaale, however, such refunds will be assessed on a case to case basis by Salonwaale.
- Salonwaale’s decision on refunds shall be final and binding.
- All refund amounts shall be credited to Buyer’s account as may be stipulated as per the payment mechanism of Customer’s choice, the estimated timelines are detailed as below, in case Customer doesn’t choose to credit it to Customer’s wallet with his/her Salonwaale Account;
